so what am I doing all day long in the middle of the Alps?? I reckon that's a good question!! well, I work (sometimes at least), I went to the Spa next door for a lovely relaxing evening, even went skiing yesterday and stuff...

On the pix you can see the hostel.. doesn't it look great??!! then you have a view from Bad Gastein down into the Gastein valley (the town you can see is Bad Hofgastein) and the 3rd pic is the waterfall in the city center of Bad Gastein. the hostel is right next to the train station, the spa and of course right next to the chair lift up the mountains! it's brilliant!

the town is really nice. in former times the emperors used to spend their summer holidays here. that's why the buildings in town are huge and really nice! and it's set right onto a rock.. it seems like the whole town is just hanging like a picture on a rock! and it's up on 1000 meters!!

Welcome to the Alps!

yes, I'm back on blog... lucky ones who are allowed to view it... it's just you.. and nobody else... hehehe...

well.. I'm in Austria now! back home!! and decided that it was time for a new adventure in my life.. so I decided to move to the Alps... and ended up in Bad Gastein! for everyone who has absolutely no idea where I am at the moment... have a look on the map!! yesa.. this is where miss k is living now!

since I got offered this job as a hostel manager here at the Euro Youth Hotel, I decided that every Austrian should live in the mountains in his life.. it's sooo beautiful up here!! for now I' m stayin for the winter season (until mid april) and afterwards.. who knows?!?!

so far so good! I have to say... it's beautiful.. the landscape in the middle of the Alps and the majestic but very little town of Bad Gastein!! it is a must for all of you to come and visit me this winter... you won't regret it! lot's of snow, skiing, snowboarding, great food, excellent hostel and bar, people from all over the world, party (of course apres-ski.. holareitttiii) ... and so much more!!
